DSS Seeks Input On Rural Health Transformation Program

Staff Contact: Nate Percy

The Missouri Department of Social Services and MO HealthNet are seeking input from stakeholders, partners and the public for their pending application on the Rural Health Transformation Fund to CMS. The fund was created through the passage of H.R. 1 – One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

Missouri’s estimated share of the fund will be $200 million to $250 million per year for a five-year period. CMS is preparing an application and additional guidance for states to apply for funding.

Comments should be submitted utilizing MO HealthNet’s public comment form by Tuesday, Sept. 30.

Additional information on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act can be found on MHA’s website.
