HIDI Releases 2027 Premier Data Package

The 2027 Premier Data Package is now available for subscription orders. Available exclusively to HIDI-participating hospitals and health systems, the package provides timely access to analytics-ready, HIPAA-defined limited datasets that support marketing, strategic planning, quality, safety, population health and community benefit initiatives. Current Premier Data Package subscribers will be automatically renewed for 2027, with subscription invoices distributed in early December. As part of HIDI’s ongoing evaluation of products and services, the Premier Reporting Package will be discontinued after 2026. This change does not affect the Premier Data Package, Hospital Profiles Report or Case Mix Index Report, which will continue to be available to HIDI-participating hospitals.

Beginning in 2027, hospitals interested in the MedPAR DRG Charges deliverable will have access through DataGen’s enhanced web-based platform, which includes interactive analysis and reporting capabilities. Other current and prior-year Premier Reporting Package deliverables will remain available through HIDI Advantage^® through 2027.
