President Announces Launch Of TrumpRx To Lower Drug Prices
President Donald J. Trump announced the release of TrumpRx.gov, a website where “patients will be able to access large discounts on many of the most popular and highest-priced medicines in the country.” The most-favored-nation price will be available for selected drugs made by AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly, EMD Serono, Novo Nordisk and Pfizer. Patients now will be able to purchase drugs directly through TrumpRx.gov and receive the discounts.
The Missouri Hospital Association is a nonprofit association in Jefferson City that represents 136 Missouri hospitals. In addition to representation and advocacy on behalf of its membership, the association offers continuing education programs on current health care topics and seeks to educate the public about health care issues.
