Family Support Division Releases New FAQs On Work Requirements
Following a town hall meeting, the Missouri Department of Social Services’ Family Support Division released a new list of FAQs related to the changes in H.R. 1, including work and community engagement requirements. For 2027, the state will accept self-attestations for individuals in the Adult Expansion Group who are not automatically excluded through other exemptions. The state will not pursue optional short-term hardship exceptions allowed under H.R. 1. Additional state information on work and community engagement requirements can be found here.
The Missouri Hospital Association is a nonprofit association in Jefferson City that represents 136 Missouri hospitals. In addition to representation and advocacy on behalf of its membership, the association offers continuing education programs on current health care topics and seeks to educate the public about health care issues.
