President Signs Short-Term Continuing Resolution Into Law
Chairman Jason Smith’s Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act of 2026, H.R. 6500, was signed into law on Sept. 2. The resolution funds the federal government through Friday, Dec. 11, avoiding another government shutdown.
