CMS Revised Memo Explains Activities Not Legally Authorized During Government Shutdown

Regarding the federal government shutdown, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services are doing their utmost to protect Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries against immediate dangers to life and health, and prevent providers and suppliers from experiencing interruptions that would threaten their ability to provide health care services that are vital to Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries.
