CMS Issues Marketplace Notice Of Benefit And Payment Parameters For 2027
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services issued the 2027 notice of benefit and payment parameters for the health insurance exchanges as well as for health insurance issuers, agents, brokers and web-brokers, who represent Affordable Care Act coverage insurance products. The notice is intended to help strengthen program integrity, improve access to coverage, encourage plan innovation, reduce improper enrollments, help improve consumer income eligibility and verification, and expand issuer accountability.
