MHA Shares Medicare Open Enrollment And Respiratory Disease Season PR Toolkits
Hospitals are trusted sources of health information, and two timely topics are top of mind this season: Medicare Open Enrollment and respiratory virus season. The Missouri Hospital Association has ready-to-use toolkits to help your hospital spread awareness, not germs or misinformation.
Medicare Open Enrollment begins Thursday, Oct. 15, and runs through Monday, Dec. 7. As Missourians weigh their coverage options, MHA offers two customizable toolkits:
- “Be Your Own Health Care Champion” explains key differences between Medicare and Medicare Advantage insurance plans.
- The “Medicare For The Win!” toolkit, created based on member feedback, highlights the advantages of traditional Medicare.
Hospitals can add their logo and contact information and even list their contracted managed care plans for 2027. Before finalizing any materials or events, review MHA's Medicare marketing compliance guidance and involve your organization’s legal/compliance counsel.
In addition, MHA offers resources for health care providers and the public about respiratory virus infections such as influenza, COVID-19 and RSV, including prevention tips like good hygiene practices and vaccination.
Contact Summer Wilson, MHA's director of communications and engagement, if you need help modifying files or want other formats.
