Tuesday, Oct. 15, through Saturday, Dec. 7, is Medicare Open Enrollment ― a time when Medicare beneficiaries can choose to switch between traditional Medicare or a Medicare Advantage plan. It’s also an important time for health care providers to educate patients and help them make an informed choice based on their unique needs. A new campaign from the Missouri Hospital Association, “Be Your Own Health Care Champion,” can help member hospitals raise awareness and highlight key considerations within their communities.

A variety of print, digital and social media assets are available for download reminding consumers to compare health care access and cost, as well as coverage and treatment options. Most importantly, this campaign emphasizes the need for patients to visit with their health care providers before making a decision. Hospitals may customize the campaign files with their logo, contact information and even list their contracted managed care plans for 2025.
