MHA Distributes Preliminary Wage Index, Occupational Mix Data For Review
MHA released an analysis of the hospital wage index and occupational mix data that CMS will use to develop the FFY 2027 Medicare hospital wage index. Hospitals can review their hospital-specific data, and submit correction requests and supporting documentation to the Medicare Administrative Contractor through Tuesday, Sept. 2.
This is the only opportunity to request revisions to your data. Subsequent requests for revisions are limited to mishandling of the data. The files are available for review to authorized users of HIDI Advantage®.
