Missouri Board of Pharmacy To Host Webinars On Upcoming Regulatory Changes
The Missouri Board of Pharmacy will host a series of free continuing education opportunities this July for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, interns and pharmacy permit holders. Registration is required for these webinars.
The 2026 Missouri Pharmacy Law Review Virtual Program scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, July 9, will focus on Missouri regulatory changes, legislative updates, compliance trends, medication safety, technician activities, investigations and expanded pharmacist scope of practice.
Additionally, Sterile Compounding and Nuclear Pharmacy Rules Revisions Webinars will be held from noon to 1 p.m. July 14, July 17 and July 28, during the Lunch with the Chief Inspector series. These three webinars will review the upcoming rule revisions affecting the following.
- 20 CSR 2220-2.200 Sterile Compounding
- 20 CSR 2220-2.500 Nuclear Pharmacy — Minimum Standards for Operation
The board will incorporate USP Chapters 797 and 825 into these revisions that take effect Thursday, July 30. A copy of both revised rules will be available Tuesday, June 30, in the Code of State Regulations.
The Missouri Hospital Association is a nonprofit association in Jefferson City that represents 136 Missouri hospitals. In addition to representation and advocacy on behalf of its membership, the association offers continuing education programs on current health care topics and seeks to educate the public about health care issues.
