MHA Releases IPPS Pay-For-Performance Program Analysis, Quality Trends Reports And CAH VBP Simulation
The Missouri Hospital Association is providing an analysis of the Medicare Inpatient Prospective Payment System Hospital-Acquired Condition Reduction Program, the Hospital Readmissions Reduction Program and the Value-Based Purchasing Program.
In addition, MHA is providing an outpatient quality trends report, quality trending reports and a Medicare pay-for-performance reference guide. Although critical access hospitals are exempt from the Medicare IPPS pay-for-performance programs, quality trends reports are available for CAHs that submit quality data.
Also provided is a simulation representing the potential payment adjustment if CAHs were subject to the Medicare IPPS VBP program. Policy and analytic studies, prepared for distribution by the Hospital Industry Data Institute, are available for download to authorized users of HIDI Advantage®.
