MHA Publishes 2026 Legislative Session Summary
The Missouri Hospital Association released its annual legislative session summary, highlighting the outcomes of various legislative proposals from the 2026 session and their impact on Missouri hospitals, health care teams and the patients they serve.
Gov. Mike Kehoe has until Tuesday, July 14, to sign or veto legislation passed during this year’s session. Legislation signed by the governor will take effect Friday, Aug. 28, unless an emergency clause allows earlier implementation or a bill specifies a later effective date.
