MHA Distributes Wage Index, Occupational Mix Data For Review
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services released revised public-use files used to develop the federal fiscal year 2027 Medicare wage index. The Missouri Hospital Association posted these files to HIDI Advantage® for review. Hospitals can review their hospital-specific data and request revisions by Tuesday, Feb. 17.
Requests and supporting documentation for revisions should be directed to the CMS Medicare Administrative Contractor. Requests for revisions are limited to mishandling of the data or revisions of desk review adjustments to wage index data.
The Missouri Hospital Association is a nonprofit association in Jefferson City that represents 136 Missouri hospitals.
