MHA Distributes Analysis Of Proposed CY 2027 Medicare Outpatient Prospective Payment System
The Missouri Hospital Association prepared an analysis illustrating the financial effects of the proposed calendar year 2027 Medicare Outpatient Prospective Payment System rule. The analysis, which is available online for authorized users of HIDI Advantage®, includes a summary for the nation, Missouri and individual hospitals.
Hospitals in Missouri are projected to receive an estimated payment decrease of 3.76% for services provided under the OPPS. Although footnoted, the analysis does not reflect the effects of the 2% sequestration. Hospitals have until Monday, Aug. 31, to review their hospital-specific data and submit comments regarding the proposed rule.
The Missouri Hospital Association is a nonprofit association in Jefferson City that represents 136 Missouri hospitals.
