DMH Opens Reimbursement Submission Portal For Developmental Disabilities And Behavioral Health Boarding
The Missouri Department of Mental Health’s Division of Behavioral Health and Division of Developmental Disabilities opened a portal for hospitals seeking reimbursement for behavioral health and developmental disabilities boarding stays. Hospitals can apply for reimbursement of expenditures related to extended stays of qualifying individuals receiving DMH services. Reimbursement will be considered for individuals eligible for hospital discharge but not discharged for a specified period of time due to a lack of availability within an appropriate community placement.
Applications for reimbursement can be submitted between Wednesday, April 1, and Thursday, April 30. DMH’s letter, attestation form and fillable Excel document can be found on the department’s website.
