The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services extended the request for proposal deadline for the Rural Medical Clerkship Development grant program. Proposals are now due no later than 2 p.m. Friday, July 17. Previous instructions not contradicted by the RFP remain the same.
This grant program allows applicants to receive up to $115,000 per contract, with the opportunity for two contract renewals. Any new partnership with a medical school must be established and operational no later than August 2027.
At least half of the clerkship rotation time must take place in Missouri’s Rural Health Transformation Program’s ToRCH Care counties, which include all Missouri counties except Boone, Cass, Clay, Greene, Jackson, Jefferson, Platte, St. Charles and St. Louis as well as St. Louis City.
