CMS Releases Information On State Directed Payment Reductions Under H.R. 1
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services posted a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on state directed payments stemming from a provision passed under H.R. 1. The proposed rule covers how reductions to SDPs will be completed over a 10-year period beginning Jan. 1, 2028. The Missouri Hospital Association published an issue brief with additional information.
