CMS Proposes 2028 Medicaid Home And Community-Based Services Quality Measure Set
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services released a notice for public comment on the Home and Community-Based Services Quality Measure Set. The proposal would require states in 2028 to begin reporting on mandatory measurements mirroring the “Money Follows the Person” program. The rule was published in the April 28 Federal Register and includes a 60-day comment period. MHA published an issue brief with additional details, including the full list of proposed measures.
