CDC Updates Guidance For COVID-19 And Chickenpox Immunizations
The CDC announced today it would revise its immunization schedules for both adult and children to apply individual-based decision-making to COVID-19 vaccination and recommend that toddlers receive protection from varicella (chickenpox) as a standalone immunization separately from measles, mumps, and rubella vaccination.
The schedules will be updated on the CDC website by Tuesday, Oct. 7.
