CDC Schedules Training For Patient Safety Structural Measure Updates
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will host a presentation on the Patient Safety Structural Measure updates from 11:15 a.m. to noon Tuesday, March 31, as part of the CDC’s 2026 National Healthcare Safety Network Patient Safety Component Annual Training.

The NHSN PSC Annual Training began March 17 and will continue until Thursday, April 9. Live sessions are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All training sessions will be recorded and made available online at a later date.
In addition, the Missouri Hospital Association recently updated its PSSM page, which provides background information, definitions and resources to support hospitals with PSSM implementation.
The Missouri Hospital Association is a nonprofit association in Jefferson City that represents 136 Missouri hospitals. In addition to representation and advocacy on behalf of its membership, the association offers continuing education programs on current health care topics and seeks to educate the public about health care issues.
