Benefit And Trust: Mercy Southeast Provides Building Blocks To Improve Maternal-Child Health

As part of the Missouri Hospital Association’s Hospital Benefit and Public Trust Campaign, a new story featuring Mercy Southeast’s Building Blocks partnership was released. Through the no-cost program, each mother is partnered with a registered nurse early in her pregnancy and receives ongoing home visits that continue through the child’s second birthday. In addition to monitoring their health, the nurse visitor works to identify nonclinical drivers of poor health and offers referrals to community partners to address those needs.
