AHA Names Steve Walsh As President And CEO
The American Hospital Association on June 30 announced the appointment of Steve Walsh as its next president and CEO. Walsh, who has served as president and CEO of the Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association since 2017, will assume leadership of the nation’s largest hospital and health care system membership organization, representing nearly 5,000 member hospitals, health systems, networks and other providers of care. Walsh replaces outgoing AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack, who announced in December 2025 his plan to retire this year.
The Missouri Hospital Association is a nonprofit association in Jefferson City that represents 136 Missouri hospitals. In addition to representation and advocacy on behalf of its membership, the association offers continuing education programs on current health care topics and seeks to educate the public about health care issues.
