Overview

Accreditation 360 represents a generational transformation in The Joint Commission accreditation. With a completely revised standards manual and survey process guide, organizations will partner with TJC to focus on meaningful requirements for safety and quality and improved alignment with CMS Conditions of Participation. Participants in the annual education program will welcome surveyors with confidence in 2026 and beyond. Enhanced discussion regarding challenging and emerging accreditation issues will be presented by subject matter experts covering leading practices.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to: 

  • describe the intent and conceptual framework for the revised TJC hospital and critical access hospital standards and survey process for 2026
  • identify frequent and challenging findings with TJC requirements and how those will be addressed in 2026
  • explore the new National Performance Goal chapter including strategies to achieve and sustain ongoing compliance
  • discuss the high-priority key concepts in TJC requirements chapters and implementation strategies for successful compliance
