Overview
Leadership plays a vital role in the development and success of Patient and Family Advisory Councils — whether in an urban or rural setting, or in a large or small organization. A PFAC, which comprises patient and family advisers, is a formal council within an organization dedicated to collaborating with patients and families.
We invite you to join our panel of speakers as they share their expertise and experience in engaging leadership within PFACs. Gaining support from leadership not only strengthens the PFAC’s foundation but also drives meaningful collaboration and lasting impact. Don't miss this opportunity to learn strategies, ask questions, and connect with others who are working to build and sustain effective PFACs.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
- understand the role of leadership in PFAC success
- hear strategies to gain leadership buy-in
- know the importance of bridging the gap between leadership and advisers
- hear examples of advancing PFAC in representative settings with leadership’s support
