Since the 2022 HHS bulletin, health care marketers continue to face a shifting landscape of privacy rules. Attend this session for a summary of how we got here (we’ll cover HHS and HIPAA, FTC, state laws, and class action lawsuits focused on patient privacy), the current legal landscape and best practices, and a checklist of what you can and can’t do.
Attendees will walk away with step-by-step guidance on how to gain alignment with internal teams (legal, compliance and IT), audit current marketing analytics tools and processes, and rework your analytics and marketing tools in order to be compliant. It is possible to still do full marketing campaign reporting to understand ROI — we will show you how!
We also will share the findings of our 2025 provider site scans to provide the scoop on what analytics and tracking technologies marketers are actually using.
