2022 CDC Clinical Practice Guidelines: Best Practices for Pain Management

General Information

1. Speaker BioToggle Panel

   John Lucio, D.O., earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., and his fellowship in cardiac anesthesia at Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard University. He is board-certified in pain management and anesthesiology. 

   He was appointed by Missouri Gov. Bob Holden to the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts, where he served as a member and secretary. Dr. Lucio also is a former vice president of medical affairs on the SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital-Jefferson City Board of Directors, which he served on from 2005 to 2014.
