Together, this network will help strengthen alignment, elevate best practices and support safer, smarter, higher-quality care for patients throughout Missouri.

What you can continue to expect through engagement with MHA:

  • Regular engagement opportunities to learn from colleagues and leaders across the state and nation
  • Resource sharing and best practices
  • Support on an ad hoc basis from MHA quality staff

What is changing and new:

  • No more group-specific dues!
  • Quality-focused regional meetings, launching in 2027

Background and History

Missouri Association of Healthcare Quality has long served as a trusted professional membership group for quality professionals across the state, offering education, networking and resources to support health care quality, patient safety, risk and regulatory work. As the needs of Missouri hospitals have evolved, so has the opportunity to broaden access to these supports.

To better serve all Missouri hospitals, the MoAHQ board made the decision to fold the paid membership structure and transition into the Quality Leader Learning Network. This change streamlines what information, education and resources were available only through membership and opens the door for every hospital quality leader to participate without annual dues.

By eliminating membership barriers, the Quality Leader Learning Network will make it easier to share timely information, practical tools, peer learning opportunities and quality improvement resources with more people across Missouri. It also gives hospital quality leaders a broader network of colleagues to learn from, collaborate with and call on as they work to improve outcomes in their organizations and communities.
