The Midwest Association for Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals provides continuing education in management and allied skills and promotes greater public acceptance of volunteers in health care.

Annual Membership Dues:

Active Member — $50
An active member provides oversight to a hospital auxiliary and other hospital volunteers and must be a paid employee of an MHA-member organization.

The Missouri Association for Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing encourages the highest standards of practice in public relations and marketing, promotes the effective use of sound public relations and marketing programs, and stimulates an exchange of information concerning matters of public relations and marketing policies, practices, and procedures in the hospital and health care industry.

Annual Membership Dues:

Active Member — $85
An active member serves as a public relations and/or marketing practitioner for an MHA-member hospital or system.

Affiliate Member — $175
An affiliate member administers public relations and/or marketing programs in a health facility and does not qualify for active membership. Independent public relations consultants and firms/agencies that have health facilities as clients also may qualify for membership in this category.

The Missouri Association for Healthcare Quality is an association of Missouri health care professionals who have a particular interest and/or expertise in health care quality. Membership in MoAHQ is reflective of the quality of care interests of health systems, hospitals, the insurance industry, and the government. MoAHQ is an affiliate organization of the National Association for Healthcare Quality. MoAHQ offers educational programs that offer CPHQ continuing education units for certified professionals, a newsletter with articles pertinent to health care quality, networking opportunities, and legislative updates.

Annual Membership Dues:

Active Member — $40
An active member functions as a health care quality professional. Active members may hold office, vote, and serve on committees.

Student Member — $20
A student member is a full-time college student taking coursework related to any discipline represented by MoAHQ.

The Missouri Association of Healthcare Purchasing and Materials Management endeavors to encourage cooperation among health care purchasing and materials management personnel to promote efficiency and reduce costs, provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and practices, and enhance professional growth through educational programs.

Annual Membership Dues:

Active Member — $50
An active member is directly involved in the logistical management and procurement of equipment, supplies and services in his or her respective health care organization.

Affiliate Member — $100
An affiliate member has an interest in logistical management and procurement of equipment, supplies and services of support services but is not working in a hospital or health care facility.

The Missouri Association of Hospital Auxiliaries assists auxilians and auxiliary organizations in serving hospitals and communities in Missouri more effectively by promoting wellness and providing information on health care issues and legislation.

The Missouri Health Care Executive Assistants organization promotes and enhances the value and professional excellence of its members by providing opportunities for education, networking and recognition through innovation, collaboration, and by advocating quality health care.

Annual Membership Dues:

Active Member — $30
An active member can participate in health care education, training, and development sessions. Active members may hold office, vote and serve on committees.

Dual Membership — $275
Missouri Health Care Executive Assistants (MHCEA) — $25 + Association of Healthcare Administrative Professionals (AHCAP) — $250

The Missouri Organization of Nurse Leaders provides members with educational and networking opportunities designed to encourage the advancement of effective leadership in nursing service.

Annual Membership Dues:

Full Member — $75
A full member is a registered nurse in a leadership position or aspiring to be a leader, graduate nursing faculty, retired nurse leader, consultant, editor, and accrediting and licensing representative who supports the mission and goals of MONL.

Associate Member — $75
An associate member is a registered nurse who is a student enrolled in a relevant degree program and not otherwise eligible for membership. They may attend business and educational meetings but are not permitted to vote or hold office.

The Missouri Society of Health Care Attorneys is a group of lawyers whose principal clients are hospitals and health systems. The group provides networking and educational opportunities, as well as the publication of newsletters concerning health law issues.

The Missouri Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration is a group of hospital and health system professionals who perform duties in the area of human resources and/or personnel management. The group provides networking and educational opportunities for members.

Active Member — $75
An active member is employed in human resources and/or personnel management in a health care institution.

The Missouri Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives provides educational programs, local information, and volunteering and networking opportunities to help members develop crucial leadership skills and stand out in this dynamic healthcare environment. The chapter also provides opportunities for established leaders to give back to the profession. Members have access to local education programs that qualify for ACHE face-to-face education credits.
