About

The Missouri Hospital Association’s Marketing, Communications and Public Relations Network brings together MHA-member hospital and health system professionals who lead and support marketing, communications and public relations efforts within their organizations.

This group is designed to foster connection, collaboration and professional growth among these specialized staff by creating a space to network, share resources and exchange best practices. Members can learn from one another, discuss emerging trends, explore creative ideas, leverage MHA resources, and gain practical insights to strengthen communications strategies in hospitals and health systems of all sizes.

This group serves as a valuable forum for peer support and shared learning, helping members stay informed, inspired and connected as they navigate the evolving landscape of health care communications.

What you can continue to expect through engagement with MHA:

  • An annual in-person forum tailored specifically to the needs of hospital and health system marketing, communications and public relations professionals
  • Resource sharing and best practices
  • A collective voice for health care public relations and marketing professionals within Missouri’s health care community, led by an advisory committee of your peers

What is changing and new:

  • No more group-specific dues!
  • Online communities, launching later this year, will offer an exclusive online forum for Missouri hospital marketing and PR staff to engage with their peers in real-time
  • Marcomm-specific spring regional meetups, launching in 2027
  • MAHPRM.org has been sunset, and all resources will be shared on MHA’s flagship website — MoHospitals.org

Background and History

As of 2026, the Missouri Association of Health Care Marketing and Public Relations (MAHPRM) has transitioned from a dues-paying professional membership group to the Marketing, Communications and Public Relations Network.

This change is intended to better align the evolving needs of health care public relations and marketing professionals across Missouri, while making participation more accessible. By removing group-specific membership dues on top of the dues your hospital pays to belong to the association, we hope to encourage broader engagement, strengthen connections among peers, and provide even more valuable opportunities for networking, professional development and collaboration.
