About Us
A Century of Advancing Missouri Health Care
MHA is the trusted partner for our 137 member hospitals and health systems, providing advocacy, expertise and resources to improve hospital operations and deliver better patient care. As a nonprofit membership organization, we collaborate with leaders and convene stakeholders to shape policy, address workforce challenges, improve financial strategies and enhance health in communities throughout Missouri. Through research, projects, programs and initiatives, we strive to inform and engage the public, media and policymakers on key health care issues.
Our work provides data-driven insights, educational programs and collaborative opportunities to support Missouri hospitals that shape an evolving environment that helps Missouri hospitals and health systems thrive. These resources empower every acute care hospital in the state, along with most federal and state hospitals, rehabilitation centers and psychiatric care facilities to better serve our communities.
